This report presents the results of programme of archaeology carried out by Archaeology South-East on land north of Cliffsend Road, Cliffsend, Ramsgate, Kent between May and October 2017. The earliest archaeologically identifiable phase of activity was the Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age, which continued into the middle Bronze Age. After a long hiatus of activity, a small enclosed farmstead was founded in the Saxo-Norman period. In the 13th century, the settlement appear to shift west. This report indicated a provisional chronology, and assessed the potential of the site archive to address the original research agenda, as well as assessing the significance of those findings. This has highlighted what further analysis work is required in order to enable suitable dissemination of the findings.
