Full Description
A military building, possibly a pillbox, is situated on the cliff at the top of the steps leading down to the beach, and located within a larger military site at Kingsgate (MWX43234). It has been mapped from military aerial photographs taken in January 1941 [1].
The rectangular structure measures 5m by 3.8m and would have been used to control access from the beach inland. The structure was first visible and was mapped from photographs taken in January 1941 [1] and is gone by April 1946 [2].
