Monument record MWX43298 - Hay stack stances and a bank, south of the Stour, Ash
Summary
A group of features are visible as a mix of cropmarks and earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs. These include several small circular features, interpreted as hay stack stances, and a short bank. All features appear to have been fully plough-levelled by the 1960s as Ordnance Survey vertical aerial photographs of this date show them as cropmarks.
