Full Description
(TR3451) Iron Age coins uncovered during a South of England metal detecting rally held on 11th and 12th September 1993 at Great Mongeham, Nr Deal. The coins consisted of potin, bronze, silver and gold and the most interesting find was a silver drachma from Cissalpine Gaul dating probably from the late 3rd century BC. Coin reference nos: SEDR-93-436, 29, 455, 465, 466, 467, 162, 158, 31, 450, 480, 488. (See catalogue for details.) (1)
