Summary

An programme of archaeological work carried out from 2004 to 2016 found evidence of continuous activity in area 3 (east), spanning the middle Bronze Age to early medieval periods. An array of ditches represented phases of enclosures and landscape organisation although few of these extended into area 3 (west). Numerous pits and post holes were found as well as a possible round house and a post-built granary.
