Abstract/Summary
This report presents a comprehensive description and analysis of the nature of the remains of the former chemical explosives works at Lower Hope Point on Cliffe Marshes. An investigation was undertaken as part of English Heritage's Hoo Peninsula Historic Landscape Project which aims to provide a greater understanding of the historical development of the Hoo Peninsula.
