Monument record TR 35 NW 660 - Kitchener Camp, Richborough Port

Summary

A WWI camp site, part of Richborough Port, a major WWI port serving allied troops on the Western Front. The site appears to have been reused for military purposes in WWII when extra defences were added to its perimeter. It is not clear whether there are any remaining elements of this facility as the site has been extensively redeveloped in the early 21st century.
