Abstract/Summary
Canterbury Archaeological Trust (CAT) was commissioned by WSP Consulting to undertake machine-cut evaluation trenching on the Western Heights at Dover. The fieldwork was conducted in
October and November 2017, ahead of proposed re-development across the site of the demolished Grand Shaft Barracks, first built in 1805.
